Bourner’s Orchard has fresh fruit usually available in the autumn of each year.
It is a bit sporadic in August as peaches are a fussy fruit. It is always a good idea to call ahead to verify availability of any fruit: (269) 375-6208.

This is a small, locally owned and operated centennial business. Some of the trees were planted back in 1914 and still produce quality fruit. This is a cash or check only business. Cash is preferred. His fruit is also occasionally available at the Kalamazoo Farmer’s Market on Bank Street at John Reuter’s stand.
From late September through mid-December, there are apples, unless he sells out early. Sometimes there are even peaches, pears, apricots, and plums too. Check back in summer too for strawberries and red raspberries. The apples are Bruce’s main crop. Please check to see when each item is available.

I’ve been coming here for years. The only place I purchase apples is Bourners. Best apples and best price. My favorite for eating are snow and russet. Waiting on russets now. I use cortland and spy’s for applesauce.

This is a mid-October apple. It may ripen a bit early, but it depends on when he’s able to pick it. Give Bourner’s Orchard a call on October 15th: (269) 375-6208.
